Model Gallery:  United Airlines DC-4,  Minicraft Kit in 1/144

Build Notes: 

This is my 2nd 1/144 Scale Kit, and kits in this scale have their challenges.   I used Model master Non-Buffing Aluminum Metalizer as my base coat, and I used Vallejo Satin as my clear coat.  almost every other color you see was done with decals.  For a small scale this kit had a lot of decals, some of them in quite difficult shapes.  

The Fit was fair,  A little sanding was needed around the cockpit area, and a lot of care was needed with the gear bay doors.   The Decals didn't want to stick all that well so I used Soveset, my go to decal problem solver,  but had to use it carefully to avoid ruining my paint.
