Model Gallery:  Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser  Round 2's AMT re-issue

Build Notes: 

This is Round 2's Re-issue of the Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser.  The Molds are from the 1960's and have quite a bit of fit problems.  Lots of sanding will be required. There are a few improvements on the kit and there is a new sheet of decals for more info you can read my kit review.

I painted mine in a way that was reminiscent of the studio model used in the series but still used my version of artistic license to make my build look a little more interesting.

The colors used are as follows:

Light Blue........  is a slightly lightened Model Master 2078 RLM 65 Hellblau

Dark Purple...... is a darkened greyed down Model Master 2013 Napoleonic Violet

Scarlet Red...... is a 50/50 mix of Kylon Touch ups of Gloss Pepper Red and Flat Black

Metal Color...... is Model Master Titanium Buffing Metalizer.

The Decals on the kit are a little thick and have a lot of clear film that should be trimmed.

All in all this was a fun build except for all the sanding..
