In Box Review:

1997 Ford Crown Victoria Georgia State Patrol Car

This is a Police Car, and it is a Lindberg kit.  The box is dated 2007, so it is not one of the older really bad kits that are still out there.  

Looking into the box the first thing you notice is the pre-painted body.  It looks good, and is also in 1 piece, there is no open hood, trunk or doors.  There is also no engine and the lower chassis is in one molded part.  The part count for this model is fairly low coming in at around 50 pieces.  Also there is almost no flash on the parts.

This kit looks like a good starter kit for someone just beginning with model building.  I like to do my own airbrushing of models but I got this one at a discount store and the price was right so I will build it for the fun of it.  It looks like it will build into a nice model.

The decals are a basic water slide type typical for models, and has a lot of white printing to overlay over the blue part of the car, it also comes with a dashboard gauge decal.  The kit instructions are very basic,  4 pages with construction and decals shown in 9 steps.  It is also lacking in any paint guidelines for the interior.
