Walk Around Photo Feature

Subject: a Ford GPW "Jeep" Named 'Scrappy' Walk Around

This Photo set contains 15 photos of a 1943 Ford GPW "Jeep".  I took these at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum's World War II Weekend in June 2012.

The Jeep shown is a restored example on display as a living history exhibit.  Ford build over 280,000 of these during the war.  The name stands for "Ford" built "G" Goverment Contract, "P" passenger car, "W" willys licensed design.
